Flooding in Belton, TX

We've had nothing but rain for almost 24 hours straight! Between 2am and 7:30am this morning, we got dumped on by almost 12" of rain! Needless to say we are flooding out here! This morning when I got up to take the kids to school I had to carry them out 1 by 1 to the car so they didn't get their shoes drenched! On our way to school I was blown away by the amount of water that was standing every where!

This was a baseball field behind our apartment...now its a small pond!

And this is a creek that runs down behind our apartment but now it looks more like the Chattahoochee river!
