San Antonio, The Alamo and My Bubba

This morning Dwain and I got up at 6:30am, got dressed, got the kids up, got them breakfast and ready for school and then left the house at 7:30am! After we dropped the kids off at school we hit the road for San Antonio! My brother came to San Antonio to work at a conference so Dwain and I were going to do some sight seeing and eat lunch with him!
We got into San Antonio just before 10am and went to the Alamo! We did some sight seeing and Dwain was my tour guide :) hehehe

My beautiful tour guide :)

This beautiful, old, giant tree! It was brought here in 1912 and was 40 years old at the time!
There are ropes and poles helping to hold it up!
I caught Dwain off guard but got a beautiful smile out of him :)

This was my attempt to get a picture of me and Dwain with the Alamo in the background! lol
After the Alamo we went to the Riverwalk and I feel like we walked all around that entire place! Dustin joined us and we found a place to eat called the Original Mexican Restaurant. It was literally the first Mexican restaurant here.

Time to say good-bye...we had to get on the road to get back in time to pick up the kids from school and Dustin had to get back to the convention.
