DD came home from the field tonight and on his way home he called me and told me that he got me a present! I got on to him about spending money and told him not to be buying me things! He said when he got home, for me not to go looking out the window...so I am thinking he is coming home with flowers. I told him I would be in the kitchen making dinner so I wouldn't peak. I was in the refrigerator when I heard the front door open and close so I closed the refrigerator door and glanced over my shoulder...but no flowers?? As he came around the corner of our half wall into the kitchen there it was...the sweetest little face you have ever seen! He had a darn puppy in his hands!!! My mouth dropped and I couldn't believe what I was seeing! I said, what is that?! And Dwain had the cutest look on his face as he surprised me! I haven't been surprised like that and it was so sweet that I started to tear up...
Here he is...he is a mutt! We joke that he is our "kitchen sink" dog and our own Heinz 57! He's mostly basset hound, but has so much more in there too!
Straight to the bath with daddy...they both stunk!
Dwain went to the store to get Madison a few things and while he was gone, Madison just wanted to curl up by his boots! So sweet :)
So I got him a pillow to lay on!
Time to hang out with daddy
And sleepy boy just slept all night!
