To start, on my way through Nashville (my drive takes me from Indy to Louisville, to Nashville, to Chattanooga and then finally Atlanta) I stopped and had lunch with an old friend...Chris Fleming. He and I worked together and the Circuit City in Kennesaw and haven't seen each other in years.
This is us outside the restaurant we ate at (you knew I would get at least 1 picture!)
After lunch I got on the road to get to GA! On the way there, this is what it looked like! It rained about 10-15 minutes just about every 45 minutes to an hour...the rest of my trip!
Then I got to my brother's house to babysit my nephew while they were out. This is how I was greeted at the door! He is completely crawling and pulling up on everything! His hair is thicker, his face is changing and he is just growing into a big boy!
And he loved playing with my keys! Mommy had him already in his pj's (the froggy ones I bought him on my last trip) and ready for bed.
Once I played with him for a little bit, I knew it was time for him to go to bed. So I got his bottle and went to his room. I sat in the rocker with him, gave him his bottle and rocked him to sleep. It was the most incredible experience of my life! That sweet little boy in my arms, making his little noises as he took his bottle, putting his little hands over his face and reaching out to touch my face...oh, it makes my baby fever even worse! Who knew I could love another human being so much...and just imagine what it will be like when I do have my own!!!
