On the way over Rylan took a cat nap and played with his finger puppets that Wendy brought him!
We got there around 12:30 and I was hiding in the back seat to make sure they couldn't see me yet. But my grandpa came outside to help Dustin bring stuff in and I thought I would be busted. I was feeding Rylan a bottle and I leaned over further so they couldn't see me. But he looked right at me and I thought it was over...but he didn't have a clue it was me! They walked inside and then both he and my grandma came out...so I knew I couldn't hide anymore. Grandpa walked right by my window and I waved, he waved back...but still didn't know it was me! Then my grandma came to the window and was kind of peeking in (I think she was just looking for Rylan) so I rolled down my window (the door is broken and you can open it from the inside) and said, "can you open my door for me please!" It took her about 4 seconds to realize it was me and she flipped out! It was a great surprise! She began crying and it was so sweet. We got inside so they could play with Rylan. Grandpa got him first.
Then grandma (Nonie) got her hands on him.
She couldn't hold him too long so Dustin held him while she talked to him...
Then she got on the floor with him!
I realized that I don't have many pictures of me and Erin...so I got a good one!
Next person to arrive was my Aunt Val. I was in the kitchen when I heard her come in the door so I grabbed my camera to get her reaction! She came around the corner...and it took her a few seconds to realize it was me...this is the reaction I got!!

Then of course she went right for Rylan!
This is a zucchini that was grown in Val's neighbor's garden and Dustin was comparing it to Rylan (Val thought it was vulgar!)
Rylan had lots of new things to explore, touch and pull up on!

Then my mom got there...but I didn't have my camera ready to capture her reaction...but it was about the same as Val's! Then of course she went straight for Rylan!
I thought this was a sweet picture...Rylan was tired but wouldn't go to sleep...and he was twirling his hair!
Grandma (Mom) got Rylan a guitar!
Then grandma (Nonie) got her hands on Rylan again and he layed on her chest just staring at her! It was so funny cause he sat there forever just looking at her! He was just fascinated by her...as we all are :) ! She was trying to get him to say Nonie!
Then she got him to sleep! (she closed her eyes too!!)
We did eat at some point...
Rylan woke up and grandpa got him again...

This is the cake I made for the cookout...it kind of melted in the car ride over!
Once you cut into it, you see it has a red, white and blue cake layers!
It turned Dustin's tongue blue!

We hate it when Dustin does this...it scares me! But Rylan just smiles and laughs when he is up there!
When we got back to Dustin and Erin's, they began doing laundry and packing for their vacation! Rylan decided to help with the laundry!
Then he helped with the packing!!
I was sitting on the couch and couldn't keep my eyes open, so I told them I was going to lay down and take a quick nap then go to the grocery store. At 10pm Dustin was waking me up! It scared me so bad that I jumped off the bed and began hitting my brother for scaring me!!! We sat up and talked for a little bit and then went to bed!
