Snow Day in Georgia

Yes, that is right! Georgia got a little snow storm that came through here today! It is the first time in almost 16 years since we got snow like this! In 1993, when I was a freshman in high school, we had a blizzard that came through from what they called the "Storm of the Century" or the "White Hurricane! We got about 8 to 10 inches of snow then and since then we have probably not had more than 1 to 2 inches at any given time!

I woke up from the sounds of little screams of laughter and thought there is no way that it snowed last night! But I decided to get up and check it out, and there it was! Snow covered the ground and was still falling! And it kept falling until almost 5 o'clock! When it was done, we just had a slight covering on the ground. But my dad had a lot more than me! He is about an hour northeast of me and they got about 8 to 10 inches while here in Atlanta it was only about 6 inches!
