Wine Auction and Engagements Oh My!

Today was the High Museum Atlanta Wine Auction and FLiP was participating. All kinds of restaurants were there with food tastings, chocolates, desserts, etc. Stacey came along with us to help me man our table. But first, she had to help me gather up everything to get to the tent!
It was raining and miserable! We got drenched just trying to get set up!

After the wine auction was over, Stacey and I grabbed some lunch before we both had to get to work! We went to La Parilla which is a yummy Mexican place just up the road from FLiP.

When I got back to FLiP there was some exciting things going on! We had a guy call a few weeks ago asking if he could propose to his girlfriend with Blais's help! So we devised a plan...

Because the girl is a huge Top Chef and Richard Blais fan, he decided to do something unique with the ring. He is known for this little smoker gun that he carries with him every where and it was used on a dish he did on the show. So he put the ring in a bowl, covered it with plastic wrap and smoked the bowl for her to cut in to to see what was inside... And of course...I got a little video! But I have to warn you...I accidentally move the camera towards me as I am trying to walk past Blais and it catches my cleavage...sorry!
