A Day at the Aquarium

For Christmas, we (myself, Dustin, and Erin) gave my dad a card that stated he could have a day with his children. That we would go do whatever he wanted for a day! So here we are...finally...almost 5 months later...doing what he wants! So we went to the Aquarium! And instead of just his children, we included grandchildren! :)

Dad went to Dustin and Erin's house and they came to my house. We got on the road and hit Bojangle's to get biscuits first.

We got to the aquarium and right when you walk in the doors, there are 2 big aquariums with fish that just swim around and around and around.
Rylan just thought this was the coolest and his face just lit up as he stared at them! Then we saw some really cool things along the way...

Once we got in the big viewing area, you can see the Whale Shark better! Erin and Rylan - a pre-Mother's Day outing Dustin, Erin, Rylan and Emalyn Dad and Rylan Manatee - they were the coolest ever! They would come up to the window and look at you! They seemed very aware of what you were doing! We went to one of the touch pools and Rylan did not hesitate to stick his hand in the water! He was touching some Sea Anemone...it was too cute Then we went to see some Otter's! They were too cute! They were getting there teeth brushed, eating, cracking open clam shells and even coming up to the glass to give a kiss to Rylan! Rylan just stood as close to the glass as possible and watched everything! I got a video of the otter swimming!

Then we went to another part and saw some crocodiles Piranha Asian Small-Clawed Otter...this one was obsessed with a clam shell and wouldn't put it down! When we would walk through the aquarium, Emalyn would just watch Rylan and smile...I had to video it!

We got a family photo in front of one of those green walls...I was wearing a green tank-top so it looks like my tank top is part of the blue water!

But once he started he realized he had food in his mouth and wasn't ready!

And he got a little "salad" on his face when he was feeding himself! Dustin was doing this trick with the coasters and Rylan would do it too...just a little different! I had to get this on video! Too cute!
