Day in Fredericksburg and Austin

Today we decided to drive to Fredericksburg, Texas for the day. We were told it is like a little German town (kind of like Helen, Georgia...or so we thought!) We got there and the streets are lined with little shops and restaurants, but there is no comparison to Helen! It was a cute little town, but wasn't very German style like Helen is set up!

We stopped to get ice cream at this awesome little place called Clear River Ice Cream! They make all their own ice creams there and they are yummy!

After we left Fredericksburg, we went to Austin to eat dinner at Artz Rib House...we were not impressed at all! But they had live music and the kids enjoyed it...
