Driving Home from NO

This morning we all got up and ate breakfast and then it was time to say good-bye to the kids :(

This is what Dwain did most of the time driving home...but that is ok...1. I love to drive and 2. he hadn't had much sleep this week because he was doing some crazy training that kept him up a LOT!

We decided to finally stop and eat some lunch and had the funniest experience ever! First we went to a Jack in the Box and when we drove up to the drive-thru to order the girl says, we only have small cups so we can only give you small drinks. We said no thanks and then drove over to Whataburger that was right next door. So we finally decide what we want to eat and I go to place our order. I settled on a chicken strip sandwich and Dwain was going to build a burger. I say, can I have a double meat whataburger on a large white bun and was waiting for her to say ok, what would you like on it...instead she says, so that's a whataburger junior. I say no and I repeat myself, her response is so you want a whataburger with pickles! I start laughing and I look at Dwain and say am I not saying this right??!! He said no, you are doing it fine and clear. So again, with laughter in my voice I say it again...she says a whataburger with mayo! So I get frustrated, look at Dwain and say lets just get large drinks here and go back to Jack in the Box to get food!

I tell the chick never mind, can we just get 2 large Dr. Pepper's and she understood that part! LOL We go back over to Jack in the Box and I go to order our food...Dwain's burger and my chicken strips and that we don't want the drinks so they can just keep them! He then tells me they are all out of chicken strips! At this point I just started laughing so hard that I couldn't talk now! Dwain thinks I'm crazy but after this craziness of trying to just get some food now took 30 minutes and 3 trips through the drive-thru! So I finally get my laughter under control and get the words out of my mouth of what I want and we pull up to the window. He then tells us it is going to be a little while because there is only 3 of them there working! We pull around while we wait on our food and I look up and notice this sign on the window!!! PRICELESS! We laughed about it all the way home!
