Today is Riley's 8th birthday! This morning when they got here, I made the kids some pancakes...but I made them a little extra special since today was an extra special day!
Dwain got home early today so he and Riley spent some much needed Wii time! lol
The kids are staying with their mom tonight so D and I worked on Riley's cake tonight after they left...he was so cute! He wanted to know every part of how to make the cake! He was cutting fondant out in shapes so we could make the camouflage! This would be the first attempt at getting it to work out...the second wasn't any better and the third was finally the trick! lol 
We finished the cake and went to bed...and everything worked out ok...there was a trouble spot with the fondant that wanted to tear! I was worried about the cake all night! (And I had every right...when we woke up...it was completely messed up!)
