Bradley Gunnery Family Day

Today was very exciting! It was family day out in the field with the soldiers...so I packed us up a lunch, some goodies for the guys, got ready and we got out the door to head out to Ft. Hood for the day!

I was up late making lunch for us and Dwain, Mountain Dew pound cake and lots of cookies for the guys :)

We got to the motor pool where all the family members were waiting to get on buses...Abby took off for Kasey :)

This is JD...he belongs to Frtiz and Tiffanie (he just cracks me up...such a daddy's boy!!!)

Riley cut his finger (just slightly) on a gun so I went over to the medic truck to see if they had a band aid...the guys took it as an opportunity to "treat" someone and got a kick out of it!

It didn't faze him though...he was right back on the truck with the guns!

While we were there they had a promotion ceremony...there were 5 Lt's that were being promoted to 2nd Lt

Dwain got to pin his Lt and then give him a good ol' punch in his rank! (its a pretty cool tradition)
