My Trip to GA (Monday/Tuesday)

Monday morning, I woke up around 7:30 am to say good-bye to Dustin, Erin and Rylan as they drove off to the beach!
Rylan was all set in his seat and was playing with his little guitar that someone brought him back from the Dominican Republic!
Erin and Rylan ready to head out!
Dustin - great t-shirt!
Luckily, they let me stay at their house for my last couple of nights I had planned on being there. Once they left, I went right back to sleep! I didn't really have anything planned, except maybe having dinner with some folks in Kennesaw, but other than that I was going to try and be lazy!
I did get in touch with Lauren and we planned on meeting in Athens to eat lunch and do my hair...she is the world's best hair dresser and my bestest friend!!! I needed her to rescue my hair from what this other girl did to it! By the time we met up it was 2 o'clock and she had to be somewhere at 6:30...it was going to take about 3-4 hours to do my hair! And I had gotten a call from my friend Quinton and was going to drive to Kennesaw to have dinner. Anyway, we grabbed a bite from this great little place...I can't remember the name though! I had a great grilled chicken panini with mozzarella and pesto!!! So good!
This is us at the place...yes she has a slight black eye from a bike accident! (And we both showed up in a navy blue top!)
Then we got down to business!
She was doing my hair up right!
It is sad though, I wanted to hang out longer...but she is such a busy girl! Next trip I am going to make her spend time with me!!!
I left there and went to Kennesaw. I met Quinton at Chili's...then the night turned long! I got to sleep sometime in the 6am hour and woke up sometime in the 9am hour!

Tuesday I headed to my grandma's to eat lunch with her, my aunt Kathy, uncle Richard and my dad. So on my way, I stopped by Barberito's (my uncle Durward's restaurant in Winder) and got myself a burrito and some chips and salsa! When I got there, they had eaten already, but we got to sit and chat while I ate.
Then we went outside to set up the tents to get ready for the next day...the 4th of July.
Some of you may know (or if you didn't, you would have noticed it by now) that I LOVE taking pictures. Any kind of pictures! But I do love great B&W photos! I think they are beautiful and can tell a lot without seeing the color to it! I thought I would put some of them up for you to see!
But this was a flower in my grandma's yard I had to take in color!
Then we headed over to my aunt Denise and uncle Tony's house to start the hash (our family's version of what you might call Brunswick Stew...except ours is better!) These are a few other BW pictures I took over there...that guy is my cousin Ryan and he just had a look about him that was perfect for a BW picture!
Here is Denise with the beautiful Miss Lydia!

Oh...then Miss Haleigh got there! She has grown so much and is just even more adorable!!!
Look at her running...she was chasing the cat from one end of the yard to the other!
Ryan and I snuck off to get dinner, I took him to Red Lobster and we chowed down! By the time we got back it was time to assemble the hash. All the meats had been cooked and ground up along with the onions and corn. Then all the secret stuff goes in and out comes the best pot of anything you have ever put in your mouth! It was about midnight and I had to get back to Dustin and Erin's house...about a 30 min. drive! I dropped dad off at his place, got "home" and went to sleep...had to get ready for the big day!!!
