My Trip to GA (Sunday)

Sunday was going to be a fun day too! This whole trip was just one fun day after another! I drove down on this trip because I knew there were several things planned and several places I needed to go...I didn't want Erin or Dustin to have to take me everywhere...especially since it ranged from Kennesaw to Statham to Athens and back again! So I had several little "reunions" planned!

Shane Michel, one of my oldest and dearest friends, was having his annual crab boil at his house in Statham and he had invited me to come. THERE IS NO WAY I WAS GOING TO MISS THAT!!! I hadn't had his dad's crab boil since I went to New Orleans last and that was in 95 or 96??? So Mr. Warren packed up the crabs, shrimp, potatoes, corn, sausages, garlic, onions and all the other stuff and drove it on over! I saw so many people that I haven't seen in years!

They take the food from the pot and pour it directly onto a newspaper lined table!

I stayed for a few hours and then had to get back to Dustin and Erin's house...#1 the heat had gotten to me and I think I was on the verge of a major heat stroke! and #2 Dustin, Erin and Rylan were getting ready to leave in the morning to head to the beach...so I wanted to spend a little more time with them before they left.

While I was at Shane's, Rylan was getting in his crab float in Mee Mee's pool!

Then we all just hung out for a bit...well, I hung out with Rylan while Dustin and Erin packed!

His little hair was curly from being wet!

He got a bath and then sat with daddy for a minute.

Then Dustin brought out the big suitcase to pack and put Rylan in it! It was the cutest thing...so I apologize there are like 100 pictures of him just in the suitcase!

But then Dustin sat him down and closed the lid...this is what he did!

There he goes again with that beautiful smile!

And when he was ready...he crawled on out!

And it was so sweet cause he crawled over to me and pulled up on me!

Then we got some pictures together!

And would you just look at that face...look at that smile!

We all went to bed so they could be ready to leave in the morning!
