Monday at School

This week was fun and lighter than usual! We typically have a ton of recipes to do in 1 day and we are busy from the minute we get in the kitchen til the time we leave! It was lighter because the recipes we did were quicker than they have been in the past. In American Regional we are going from region to region - like week 1 was New England, week 2 was Mid-Atlantic, week 3 was Deep South and this week was Floribbean!

On Monday we made a Black Bean Soup, Ceviche of Gulf Shrimp with Roasted Peppers, Floribbean Slaw, Chicken with Tamarind Ginger Sauce topped with Marinated Sliced Peppers, Zucchini with Tomato, Mushrooms and Cheese, and Candied Sweet Potatoes. After American Regional, I have math class with Kim and Kamron. We were starving so we went to Wal-Mart and bought some goodies to snack on during class.

Then, after class we stopped through the room the school had the Masquerade Ball in and all the decorations were still up, so we took time to pose and play a little with some of the props!
