Week 10 in the Kitchens

Its that time....FINALS! So in baking we had to do our practicals and I chose to do Country Biscuits and Creme Brulee. They turned out good (not as good as I wished) but I forgot to get any pictures!
In Latin this was our last week because next Friday is Good Friday and school will be closed! This week we did:
Sopa de frijol negro - Black Bean Soup (Cuba)
Camarones Sofrito - Shrimp in Green Sofrito (Dominica Republic)
Salad of Hearts of Palm, with Passion Fruit Vinaigrette
Curried Lamb (Trinidad) with Fried Ripe Plantains (All Islands)
Tamarind Balls and Stuffed Dates
Chef Frank bidding us farewell
Carla snuck in the back
