My Rescue Efforts

Guinness found an injured chipmunk this afternoon. Poor little thing couldn't move his back legs, it was like he was paralyzed? So I got a little box and lined it with paper towels. I was determined to either bring him back to good health or give him a decent place to pass away :(
I got it a little thing of water, but he was so disturbed that he didn't even notice. So I put a little drop of water on the chipmunk's mouth and he realized there was water and he began to drink! Then he would almost fall asleep with his nose in the water and would wake back up, drink some more and fall asleep again! It was so cute.
Then I googled "What do chipmunks eat?" and it listed just about every and anything! So I got some corn flakes and crunched them up, but he was too weak to eat.

Then he curled up in a ball, so I got a few more paper towels to cover him up to make him warm, because it had gotten chilly outside!

Unfortunately, he didn't make it through the night :( Poor little guy, but at least he died in comfort.
