Meeting Kasey (My New Bestie)

Some of you may have heard the story and some of you haven't...so here is a little refresher! Dwain is over in Iraq right now and his roomies are Wing and Mac. Every time I send a package to Dwain, I send a little something for the other guys too :) So in the year that he has been there, I have become friends with the other guys too. Wing is originally from Ohio and Mac is from Texas. Wing's girlfriend, Kasey, is in Ohio and is moving here to Texas to live with him...like I came to live here with Dwain.
So over the last couple of months, she and I have become new besties :) We are both moving several states away to come to Texas and we are both waiting on our soldiers to come home! And thank God for her, because she has helped me through the last few agonizing months and I have helped her too :)
Today is the day she is suppose to arrive here in Texas! She drove all the way to Texarkana last night and now she and Wing's mom are finishing the drive today! So they got settled in at the apartment, unpacked their cars and then went to check in to a hotel because they don't have any furniture in the apartment yet. So I went down the Round Rock to meet them for dinner! I finally get to meet Kasey face to face! We were joking that it felt like a blind date because we have only chatted online or on our phones! lol

We went to eat at this awesome place called Rudy's! Its actually a gas station/store/bbq restaurant all in one! Its been shown on Food Network before!
I was so excited...and as you know...of course I took pictures of everything! lol
This is Travis...he was our Rudy's Tour Guide! lol They all yelled our "Welcome Rookies" to us as we walked up cause he asked us if it was our first time!
This is Kasey :) For some reason she was hiding?! lol
And this is my Extra Moist Brisket, Creamed Corn and Potatoes :) YUM!
