When we got there I saw all the rides and tents all set up
They had Bradley's lined up for people to look at and get inside...Dwain was showing me where he sits and telling me what he does in it :) He is so cute!
We were trying to get inside the Ft. Hood Stadium where all the ceremonies would take place and as we were on our way we saw the parachute coming in
We got inside the stadium but had to stand at the railing...they brought in the flags of each state!
The Georgia flag :)
With each state name called they fired the cannons for a 50 gun salute!
After the national anthem they did a fly over!
This was awesome!
Then they opened up the field and allowed us to go onto it to sit for the concert and fireworks...this is Wing's attempt to "reserve" us a spot while we waited on Dwain to get back with the chairs! lol
Then Kasey joined in!

Colin too excited...ready for the fireworks
Seether received an award for playing for us
Some of the fireworks that we saw!
The grand finale....amazing!
After the fireworks, we left Ft. Hood and got back into Belton. We were trying to get to the carnival so we could do a ferris wheel ride :) When we got there it was too late and the rides were shutting down :( But we were able to get a fresh squeezed lemonade and a funnel cake! I had to get a picture :)
