Chocolate Fest

Chocolate Fest is a charity fundraiser where vendors from Indianapolis came together, made chocolate and people bought tickets to get a dessert. There was a lot of good stuff there! We met at the school at 6:30 that morning to get our stuff together and finish up some last minute things. We loaded up and got downtown to the Arts Center about 8am and got our stuff set up so we could begin putting our desserts together, set up our display and get ready for the crowd. We offered 2 desserts - Miniature Chocolate Vacherins: chocolate meringue filled with chocolate mousse & raspberries and Art Institute logo chocolate cookies w/filling.
Here they are putting the vacherins together
These are our logo cookies before we packaged them
Here is our table display, we stacked them into pyramids...for those of you who don't know, our school is located in the pyramids...our buildings are shaped like pyramids!
This is part of the group posing behind our display
We had a large crowd there!
So we had to get to making more vacherins to fulfill the needs!

So then, I decided to go around to look at other desserts...there was some good chocolates out there! I got a few to take home and try! Now I am on chocolate overload! Here are some of the other things that were there...

  1. Oh my! I can't look at your blog first thing in the morning. It's just not helping me with my chocolate addiction. Quit it!!
