I have been so busy that I have fallen behind in keeping my blogs up! After next week, I should be able to slow down and relax...but only for a little while!
This week was Central Plains, on Monday we decided to get playful...it was boys vs. girls! There was a group of 5 guys and then 2 groups of 4 girls each! It was on! Our menu was
Wisconsin Cheddar and Beer Soup with Kielbasa
Beet and Apple Salad with Horseradish Vinaigrette
Planked Green Onion Grouper with a compound butter, served with sauteed Green Beans and Tomatoes. Mashed Potatoes with Celeriac and Glazed Pearl Onions
and Brownie Pudding Cake

On Tuesday, the day didn't quite start normal! On Tuesdays there is a morning class before our class at 12noon and it ran over! We weren't able to get in the kitchens until almost 1:30! So we were able to goof off a little and have a little fun until we could get in. We did Ribs and BBQ Sauce, Steak Fries, Beef Barley Soup, Roasted Chicken with Wild Rice and Dried Fruit Stuffing and Winter Vegetables with Thyme and Broccoli Florets. So I didn't actually get any pictures of food, just all of us!
