I got asked by Chef Marc to help create a recipe that would be a French-Japanese fusion recipe. He asked me to pick another student to help and once we created it, it would be passed along to the Chef Director of all the AI's! Its going to be printed and used for marketing purposes for the new branding/name of our culinary division. If you haven't seen it yet, watch Food Network for about 10-15 min. and you'll see one of our commercials with our new name and logo! Its pretty exciting! Our new name is The International Culinary Schools at the Art Institutes.

I had picked another student, but it kind of fell through and he wasn't there the day we had to finalize it, so I picked Carla to help me! We wrote it and finished it, but hadn't had a chance to test it. On Sunday we decided to go up to the school to try it out. It was ok, but needed a few tweaks here and there, so now we just have to re-write it and submit it.

Our recipe is Seared Magret Duck Breasts in a Japanese Marinade served over a Japanese Pancake with Sauteed Julienne Vegetables.
