A Day in Dallas

Today this sweet man took me to Dallas along with our friends Kasey and Darren! I have always, always wanted to go to Dallas because since I could remember I have been obsessed with JFK. When I was a kid, I had books on JFK, an 8x10 photo of him on my desk and my own theory on what happened! lol

So we all got in the car and drove to Dallas, which is just about a 2 hour drive from where we live. When we got there, we decided to grab lunch first. We found a place called Gators which was pretty cool...yummy frozen drinks and the food was good too...just not very good service!

Then we went into the museum in the book depository

They said you aren't allowed to take photos in here...but that is like putting a piece of cake in front of a kid and saying you can look, but you can't eat it! So I did it anyway! I took a picture from the 6th floor, 2 windows over from where the fatal shot was supposedly done from looking out onto the street!

After the museum we went to see the Bodies exhibit! It was ok...but definitely not worth the money we spent!
