Saturday in Chicago!

So, Saturday morning Carla, Ross and Kim were going to come pick me up at 9 and when I woke up and called them to check on them, they said maybe more like 10 before they get there. Nauder and Kris woke up and went for a walk and when they got back, we decided to walk over to Lincoln Park (across the street from Nauder) and walk around the Farmer's Market that happens every Wednesday and Saturday from May until August or September I think. It is really cool because it is an all organic market full of beautiful produce, breads, pastries, meat, eggs, etc. As we were walking around I hear Nauder say, "hey, isn't that the guy from Top Chef?" (one of my favorite shows!) and I started getting excited and looking around the corner to see who it was! Then I realized it was Rick Bayless (google him if you don't know who he is!) which is a James Beard Award winning chef (google him too...he is amazing!!) So I got his autograph in one of his books and got a picture with him!

Then I was actually able to get a picture with Nauder!

Then finally at about 10:45a I met up with Carla, Kim and Ross and we were off to the show!

As we were walking, Carla headed up an escalator when we really needed to go to the right on the same level...I yelled her name and she looked down and saw we were still there! So she went up, over and then back down! We were laughing we almost peed our pants!
