This was a really fun week in the kitchens...very laid back! On Thursday we got modeling saltdough so we could make bread sculptures. I will put up pictures of it once I get it done. But mostly we goofed off and made ourselves something to eat.
On Friday it was even more fun and laid back! We did ice carvings! Chef did one ice block to himself and then he split another ice block into 3 pieces so we could split in to groups of 2 to work on our own pieces. Each team came up with a design and then we had to wait for the ice blocks to warm up a little before we could work on them, so we decided to cook ourselves a little dinner.
