I learned something new about my school today. Every Wednesday, we send boxes of bagged lunches to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport for the troops as they come home! I thought that was pretty cool! If you didn't know, most all the troops pass through our airport on their way home! So we make them a sandwich from meats that we cured and bag it up with chips and cookies made in one of the baking classes!
So today, our class had time, so we put together a few boxes full of bagged lunches for the troops! And we are the only school that does this! It felt good knowing the bags we were putting together were going to these guys and gals as they touch back down on American ground!
