Week 5 - Midterms!

Well its midterm week! I can't believe the quarter has gone by so fast! But I think I say that each week! My first midterm was in my Bev ID class....whew...glad that one is done with! It was tough, but I got through it.
We made sandwich bags for the USO again to be taken to the airport for the troops coming home!
In my International class, we were in the British Isles on the first day! We had some very interesting and good food! We made:
Fennel and Red Onion Salad with Tarragon Dressing
Langoustine Souffles (they were awesome!)
Roast Beef, Yorkshire Pudding and Glazed Shallots
Strawberry Shortbread
On day 2 we were in Germany, Austria and Switzerland! We made:
Rahmilinsen mit Salat (Lentil Ragout with Greens)
Schweinelendchen im Schwarzbratmantel with Rotkraut und Spatzle (Pork Tenderloin in a Dark Bread Crust with Braised Red Cabbage and Spaetzle)
Wiener Schnitzel mit Roter Zwiebelmarmelade und Senfesauce (Pork Tenderloin with Red Onion Marmelade and Mustard Sauce)
Mohncreme mit Rotweinbrinen (Poppy Seed Cream with Pears in Red Wine)
Szegediner Gulasch (Szeged Goulash)
Carnard Roti aux Endives und Rosti (Roasted Duck with Chicory and Potato Cake)
Then in Asian we were in Japan and we made lots of Sushi and Sashimi
Gyoza (Japanese Pot-Stickers)
Yakitori (Grilled Chicken)
Buta Teriyaki (Pork on Skewers)
Kamonanban Soba (Soba with Duck and Long Onions)
Tempura Shrimp
