5th Week in the Kitchens

This was the 5th week and the half way mark through the quarter! Its crazy how fast time flies! We had a fun week in class! On Wednesday is baking and we made
Apple-Cranberry Pie
Wheat Bread
and Cinnamon Rolls (we didn't have time to finish them!)

Then Thursday is Spanish (8am-12pm - yes....4 hours of Spanish class!) and then we have Management by Menu (1p-4p).

Pabellon Crollo, Frijoles de Olla, Arroz al Vapor and Fried Plantains - Rice and Beans topped Flank Steak, Fried Egg and Plantains
Ceviche de Pescado - Fish Ceviche served with Sweet Potato Rounds
Tamales de Espinaca con Queso - Spinach and Cheese Tamales
Torta Maria Luisa - White Cake with Guava Marmalade Filling and Cream Cheese Icing
