7th Week...Only 4 To Go...and a few other notes

This week was kind of a blah week! I had a bad weekend...but let me go back a little to help explain. I got sick back in November, the doctor told me I had a slight case of Bronchitis and he gave me several medications to get rid of it. But, the weird thing is that I didn't really have too bad of a cough...then! The medicine only got rid of the "sick" symptoms...and then the cough really set in! And I got worse and worst and worse...

I have been putting off going back to the doctor, but I had continued to cough more and more! So I finally went and the doctor was really concerned cause my lungs didn't look so good! I have strep throat, severe bronchitis and pneumonia in my right lung! As soon as I got there they started doing stuff to me immediately and didn't stop until I left...there were 3 people working with me and I was never alone, they took turns coming around and doing different things to me! I got 2 shots - the first one went in my right hip and I had to wait 15 minutes to make sure I didn't have a reaction and before they could do the next one...the next one went in my left hip and I had to wait 20 minutes to make sure I didn't have a reaction to that one!

Once they were done I was so ready to just lay down cause I was feeling horrible and weak!

So that being said...this week in baking we made a few things but some of them didn't quite come out like we wanted so I didn't get too many pictures! We made some Cat's Tongue Cookies which are flat and thin and you dip them in chocolate. Here is Kim and Carla enjoying them and the cookies on the table!

Then we made Profiteroles that we were going to fill them with a pastry cream and then serve them with a chocolate ganache. But they didn't turn out too well, but here is the picture of the profiteroles.

Then for Latin we did Sweet Potato Chips with a Chimichurri Sauce
