Amazing Hot Chocolate

A few years ago, I came across a recipe for White Hot Chocolate and thought I have to make that! I love white chocolate, so this has to be good...and it was! The first time I made it, I had made it for a friend of mine for a Christmas goodie basket I gave her :) She loved it and so did her mom! Try it...you'll love it!
There are a couple of things you can do with it too! You can add a little alcohol to it to spice it up! You can add a little of it to your coffee instead of sugar! It is a great alternative to anyone who might be allergic to chocolate, since white chocolate does not contain cocoa! Serve it over fruit for something new!
Top it with whipped cream, marshmallows or more shaved white chocolate!
White Hot Chocolate
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup heavy cream
4 cups half-and-half
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Whipped topping, marshmallows, or shaved white chocolate, for garnish
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine white chocolate chips and heavy cream. Stir continuously until white chocolate chips have completely melted. Stir in the half-and-half, and vanilla extract. Stir occasionally until heated through. Pour into mugs and enjoy!
Also, Ghirardelli has a White Mocha mix they sell if you might want a pre-made mix with a mocha kick!

I came across a dessert that I would love to know how you make it:
Apple-Brown Sugar Crisp - topped with pecan streusal and coffee caramel sauce...would you mind emailing me how you make this?
