First Day at Flip

After 2 1/2 years of not working...well...I guess I should explain that first! When I moved to Indianapolis, I quit my job to stay at home. Just a month later, I started working from home for a friend of mine. I did that for several months, took a few months off, then went back to working for him for another 4 or 5 months. It was then that I had decided to go to culinary school. Another few months of just school went by and then I started working for chef Marc at the school. So when I say I haven't worked, I mean it hasn't been at a place other than home or school!

Ok...that said, let me start over!

After 2 1/2 years of not working, I am back to work! Today was my first day at FLIP Burger Boutique and I really enjoyed it. I know it will be tough at times, but I had fun! I am in there with several of my friends I go to school with, so it makes it a little easier! Blais is pretty cool and I'm eager to learn as much as I can from him and the other guys.
We did a lot of prep work and cleaning today. I think they are planning to open in 1 week, so we are trying to get it all ready! They grilled up a batch of burgers and we were able to chow down on these yummy little babies!

The burgers didn't last long...we were hungry!
